Paros is easy to get around. The island is quite popular with Athenians and tourists, therefore plenty of options are offered concerning your transportation in and around Paros.

 

busses

The central bus stations are located at the centre of Parikia and Naoussa, the two main villages of Paros. As this is the cheapest way to see the island, there are frequent bus routes in summer from Parikia to Naoussa, Alyki, Pounta, Chrisi Akti and other places. From one side of Paros to the other, visitors will have the chance to enjoy the rich diversity of scenery and the gorgeous beaches. 

taxis

Taxis are one of the most relaxing means of transport but also the most expensive. Most of them are found right outside the port, the airport and the central spots of Parikia and Naoussa. The taxi nr is (0030) 22840 25001.

Car and motorcycle rental

A car is the ideal way to explore every corner of Paros and enjoy its unique character. There are many car rental facilities in Paros to make some private trips around the island. boats

There are beautiful wooden boats that get people to nice places around the island. From Aliki you can go with 2 different boats; the Rofos and the Michael Zeppos.

 

Captain Ilias from the Rofos takes you for a trip of 3 1/2 hour (departure 2 x a day) along the coast of Aliki. If the wind is good you will go to the Blue Lagoon, turquoise waters inbetween the two un-inhibited islands in front of Aliki. And maybe also to the Pirates Cove, where the pirates, long time ago, used to hide waiting for boats to pass by and attack. Drinks and (fruit) salad is uncluded and masks for snorkling are provided.
