BEACHES

PISO ALIKI

Piso Aliki is a quiet bay, just behind Aliki, a small fishing village at the still quiet south-coast of Paros. There are several lovely beaches close by, a few taverna's / restaurants at the seaside and beautiful sunsets to enjoy in the afternoon.

No nightlife, no discotheques, just calmness and tranquillity.....except for an occasional village party which are realy nice.

Piso Aliki and yoga, the perfect combination to realy unwind from your daily stress, relax and enjoy your holiday.

Tango Mar

Is another beach bar at the end of Parikia on the left side.

Lounge, calm atmosphere, nice food, international kitchen.

small beaches

If you prefer more quiet, there are plenty of small beaches around, without bar/taverna, where it's more quiet.

There is one lovley beach in front of the yoga studio.

Farangas

A nice - but popular - beachbar close by. The sand and the sea are beautifull there, they have a bar where you can have something to drink and eat, there is plenty of shadow (important in the summer in Greece) and they rent sunbeds and umbrella's.

Magaya beach & restaurant

Close to Parikia, one of my favorite places to go, if you want something else. It is located right on the beach near Parikia. It offers all day long drinks and food in Asian and Greek recipes. They play nice music and have hammocks to relax and a nice bar with a fresh breeze most of the times. Sometimes they have live music on sunday afternoons.

Drios/Golden Beach

Golden Beach, located south of Parikia, is considered to be one of the best beaches of Paros. Golden Beach (Chrissi Akti) is a long golden sandy beach extending for 700 metres, famous by windsurfers for its ideal wind conditions. Every August the Professional Windsurfing World Cup is organized on this beach, gathering many windsurfing celebrities. Golden Beach is fully organized offering plenty of windsurf facilities. Many hotels, apartments and rooms for rent are available in the area. This beaches are reachable from the asphalted road by local buses or private way of transportation. Source: www.greeka.com
