Where?

map Paros

The yoga courses will be held on Paros, one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades. The Cyclades are a group of islands in the Aegean Sea, between Athens and Crete, known for its natural beauty and spectacular architecture. Paros is also the most central located island of the Cyclades and ferry boats go daily to different islands.

Piso Aliki is a quiet bay, just behind Aliki, a small fishing village at the still quiet south-coast of Paros. There are several lovely beaches close by, a few taverna's / restaurants at the seaside and beautiful sunsets to enjoy in the afternoon.

Food:

A good variety of groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables are available in local stores.
There are a few Greek tavernas, at the seaside, where you can have lunch / dinner or just a coffee. In general the Greek kitchen offers, apart from dishes with meat, a lot of dishes suitable for vegetarians and there is plenty of fresh fish.

Transportation:

Busses go regular between Parikia (main town) and Aliki, untill late in the evening. Costs about 1 Euro. Taxis cost about 15 Euro.
To go to Naoussa/the other side of the island is a bit more complicated, first you have to take the bus to Parikia and then another bus. You can also rent a bike or a car. Many accidents happen with bikes, so please be very careful!

Money:

There is no cash machine in Aliki. You need to take enough money with you or to go to Parikia to find a cash machine.
